A reminder to everyone that the next Live Q&A is this Saturday, June 8 at 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern. If you have registered for previous Live Q&A's you are already registered for this one (it is the same zoom link). A registration confirmation email with your personal link to join will be re-sent to you Saturday morning. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam folder. It comes from no-reply@zoom.us I hope to see you there!

If you can't make it and want to watch the recording or previous Live Q&As, you can do so on my videos webpage.

I have been reviewing the statistics on the blogs that I have written over the last three years and nine months, and here are the links to the top 5 most viewed:

Check them out if you haven't already!

Also, in the vagus nerve post in the fall I said I would follow up after I had a chance to try out the VeRelief vagus nerve stimulator. What I liked about it was its portability and that their patented electrodes don't require gel, making it easy to take with you and use it on the go. While I did notice mild calming effects on my nervous system, I find I can get those same effects with a few minutes of breathwork exercises (see my videos page for how-to videos & 5 minute breather breaks). Caelum also tried it, and he reported improvement in his digestion (which makes a lot of sense since the vagus nerve ennervates our gut).

I then tried the TruVaga vagus nerve stimulator which works on the carotid artery. According to Chiropractic Neurologist Dr. Mark Case, the carotid vagus nerve stimulator provides a much higher level of stimulation (80%-90%), versus the auricular nerve stimulator (20%-30%) and personal exercises like gargling and humming (10%). It also only requires two minutes twice daily to use it effectively. I definitely noticed a difference with that one. I felt immediate calming, and found it had a cumulative effect over time. The downfall is the device comes preloaded with 350 uses, after which it no longer works. They also don't ship outside of the United States, which is unfortunate. Caelum noticed greater benefits with the Truvaga as well.

Regular blog posts will resume next week, and moving forward blogs will be posted twice a month (around the middle and the end of the month).

Best wishes and happy healing to you all!

Candy
